Coffee shop app"Kawa"


香港でリリースされたiphone&アンドロイド向けアプリ「kawa」。ロゴマークとチュートリアルのイラストを香港の会社 Coffeenity Limited Hong Kong から依頼を受け制作した。チェーンで大規模に展開する店舗ではなく、地域に根ざしたローカルなカフェを紹介するためのアプリで、登録されている珈琲店のメニューや店の雰囲気をアプリ上で閲覧できるだけでなく、アプリに登録されたクレジット機能により、ポイント制でコーヒーの購入ができる。
An iPhone/Android app “kawa” released in Hong Kong. We created a logo mark and illustrations in a tutorial by request from a company in Hong Kong, Coffeenity Limited Hong Kong. This is an app for introducing not a widely operated shop chain but local cafés rooted in the community. This app makes it possible not only to browse the menus of registered coffee shops and their atmospheres but also to purchase coffee on a point system by using a credit function registered with the app.

We gave thoughts to various ideas on the logo mark so that people can quickly recognize the app as an app related to coffee. In the end, we expressed a Wi-Fi symbol as a latte pattern to express that the app offers a new way to enjoy coffee through the Internet.

We also created illustrations for the tutorial to show how to use the introduced[TR1]  app.
