chart project®は、社会課題を表すグラフ（チャート）の形を活かし、アート作品として表現するプロジェクトです。現在の社会課題データと、その課題が改善された理想の未来を、アート作品を通して多くの人に届けるプラットフォームです。
chart projectでは、東京都の八王子市で行われた「八王子芸術祭」のプログラムとして、市内の商業施設、多摩美術大学、小学校にてワークショップを開催。八王子市における緑の多さを表すグラフをもとに、さまざまな作品が制作されました。ワークショップの様子や制作された作品は、高尾駅内の施設で行われた「わたしの緑展」にて展示。tegusuではワークショップの企画サポートや、展覧会のグラフィック、展示スペースのデザイン等を担当しました。展覧会のビジュアルにも、八王子市における緑の多さを表すグラフを用いています。
chart project® is a project to turn charts (graphs) of social issues into artwork. It works as a platform to deliver “the current social issue data” and “the ideal future” where the issue is solved to many people through art.
As part of the programme of the Hachioji Art Festival in Tokyo, the Chart Project organised workshops in shopping malls, Tama Art University and elementary schools in the city.
Various artworks were created based on the chart, which represents the amount of greenery in Hachioji City.
The workshops and artworks were exhibited at the "My Greenery Exhibition" held at a facility in Takao Station. tegusu was in charge of planning support for the workshops, exhibition graphics, exhibition space design, etc. The exhibition's visuals also use a graph showing the amount of greenery in Hachioji City.
